Each year a new group of PEs pass
the Georgia licensing exam and join the ranks of
Professional Engineers. The Georgia Society of
Professional Engineers organizes a special
program to recognize their accomplishment. It
is GSPE’s aspiration to have a
representative from all the Georgia engineering
societies and associations in attendance.
The
PE exam is administered twice a year in Georgia:
first in April and again in October. This
annual programs honors all the new PEs who have
passed the previous October and April exams.
The new PEs are invited to bring a spouse/guest,
as well as, their engineering mentor/supervisor
to help celebrate their achievement. The
tradition incorporates an enjoyable evening
celebrating the new PEs accomplishments along
with providing valuable networking
opportunities. With this in mind, GSPE
encourages all engineering societies and
associations to participate.
An Order of The Engineer
Ceremony Induction Ceremony is conducted during the
reception. If you are not yet a member, this is
your opportunity to join and to publicly declare your
responsibility for the public safety and
welfare. If you are already a member of the
Order of the Engineer, it is your opportunity to
bear witness to the ceremony.

Sponsorship
Opportunity
These new PEs are employed in a
variety of companies, have diverse specialties,
and are trained in a variety of engineering
disciplines. The common thread is that they are
newly licensed engineers. To conduct a New PE
Recognition Dinner that is meaningful and
memorable, GSPE needs your support. The event
is for the entire engineering community to
celebrate, it should be supported by the broad
array of engineering societies. We ask that you
reaffirm your support of the program with a
$300 sponsorship. As a sponsor, we will list
your association on the sponsorship signage at
the event, list sponsors in the event program,
display sponsor’s logo on GSPE’s web site and
list sponsors in The Georgia Engineer
magazine. In addition, you are invited to join
us at the event as our guest and be recognized
from the podium as a sponsor.
Please contact Carolyn Jones, GSPE Executive Director, at 404-521-2324 if you
have any questions regarding the event.
