GSPE is the leading state organization that
promotes the engineering profession to protect
public health, safety and welfare.
Mission
GSPE is the state society of engineering
professionals from all disciplines that promote
the ethical and competent practice of engineering,
advocates licensure, and enhances the image and
well-being of its members.
What GSPE does for you in
Georgia:
Provides Professional Development and networking
opportunities including the Georgia Engineers
Annual Summer Conference, PDH Saturday in the
Fall, and local chapter meetings.
Sponsors Georgia Engineers Week activities.
Hosts a Professional Engineer Recognition
Reception/Order of the Engineer Ceremony for newly
licensed engineers
Recognizes and honors engineers who make
exceptional contributions to the profession (e.g.,
Engineer of the Year)
Lobbies at the State Capital, and makes
recommendations to the State Board of Registration
for Professional Engineers.
Conducts the annual Georgia MATHCOUNTS
competitions (chapters and state)

Directions to our office:
GSPE is located at the Georgia Engineering Center
on the 7th Floor of Harris Tower, Peachtree
Center, in downtown Atlanta (233 Peachtree Street,
Suite 700, Atlanta, Georgia 30303.) Interstate
75/85 is situated only a few blocks from Peachtree
Center, and the northern exit of the Peachtree
Center MARTA Station provides direct access to the
center. Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport
is a 17-minute ride from Peachtree Center.
Going south on I-75/I-85, take the Courtland
Street Exit (exit 249A); go south three blocks and
turn right onto Andrew Young International Blvd.;
turn left in the middle of the block into the 161
Peachtree Center Avenue Parking Garage.
After parking, exit the
garage onto Andrew Young International Blvd, walk
up the hill and cross diagonally to the Peachtree
Center complex. Continue up the hill on
International Blvd. a short distance and enter the
Peachtree Center Mall on the right. Continue
straight ahead and take the escalator up to the
Plaza level. Exit the escalator to the right and
immediate turn left. Harris tower is directly in
front of you; however, you must walk briefly
across the open air Plaza to the Harris Tower
entrance.
Going north on I-75/I-85, take the Andrew Young
International Blvd. Exit and go West toward
downtown and then follow the directions above.
Two parking garages, 161 Peachtree Center Avenue
Garage and the Athletic Club & Courtland Garage
(see map) may be utilized by members of the
Georgia Engineering Alliance.
